Sakal wisdom is wisdom in diplomacy and wisdom to know the finer points of relating with people. It’s to do with your conduct or procedure required by good breeding or prescribed by authority to be observed in social or official life. It’s got to do with your self-image, how you present and carry yourself. It’s not an act for people but it’s an attitude, an aura, an atmosphere which you carry around for you know who you are. And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul's servants.

Our scripture talks of how David behaved himself with sakal wisdom and this is what prompted his promotion, do you see that. He was even accepted in the sight of all the people and even the servants of Saul who I am sure wanted his job. There comes a level when even your enemies and competitors stop competing and make way, for you would have become acceptable without a shadow of doubt that promotion is your portion.
 
At times people who are more qualified and better suited for a function are by passed because they lack Sakal wisdom, from nowhere someone who simply has an ability to capture people’s attention seems to get it going. That’s Sakal wisdom for you, it’s got to do with your dressing, how you carry yourself, your rapport with others and even your etiquette when it comes to table manners.
